Well, Volnus, When I think about moving from here to there in the universe... Wormholes from warp drives is over my head. I think moving around can be done by - Well, just say you want to go to a place like Alpha Centauri (which is actually a binary star system (which can be looked up)) Anyway, if you wanted to go there - how about bringing the space between the ship and its destination together? Like, instead of taking the ship to the star system.. bring the star system to the ship? Drag the fabric of space to the ship. Think of it - we would be there instantaneously! No long sleeps, no years of food and water... How about that?
Sounds out there, I know. But, I figure if one can conceive of it - it can be done!
That's my thought and I'm sticking with it...
